We also perform ultrasound scanning of the hand and wrist at Hand Therapy Amsterdam. We use this when a therapist wants to be able to get a better picture of your symptoms.
Ultrasound allows us to visualize structures such as muscles, tendons and joints. This helps us to better understand complaints and fine-tune treatments. The examination is quick and painless and can take place during the appointment (practice East). We can then also report our findings back to your referring physician. Our therapists agree with you when they see added value in making an ultrasound.
