Terms and fees

Our practice is a primary care occupational therapy practice.
Because of its proven effectiveness, (hand) occupational therapy is included in the basic package. We have contracts with all Dutch insurers.
Your treatment will be reimbursed for 10 hours per calendar year.

Our conditions

For clarity, you will find our terms and conditions and how to claim here.

  • Occupational therapy is in the basic package for 10 hours per year: so your insurer will always reimburse these 10 hours (no additional insurance required);
  • Our practice has contracts with all insurers in the Netherlands.
  • You have a legally determined deductible over the basic package. After surgery, this is almost always already used up in the hospital. Also consider medication costs and other medical expenses, these will first be deducted from your deductible.
  • Your health insurance company will inform you of the bills, co-payment and charges for your medical records.
  • If splints are made for your hand therapy, the material costs will be charged to you in time. In most cases, this is 30 minutes per splint.
  • Our practice has no influence on the amount of the hourly rate, this is determined by the health insurance company.
  • Appointment are set: we are busy and want to be able to do the maximum for each client. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours in advance by mail or phone. After that the treatment will be charged anyway.

For questions about the financial settlement, you can contact your insurer, they can provide the total overview of your costs and the method of reimbursement and your deductible.

Of course, we are available to answer questions about your substantive treatment.
